By accessing or playing Meridian Redacted ("the Game"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. USE OF THE GAME

Meridian Redacted is a puzzle game intended for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may play the Game for free. You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass puzzle mechanics through unauthorized means (e.g., directly querying the answer API in bulk)
• Share puzzle answers publicly in a way that spoils the experience for others
• Scrape, crawl, or automate interactions with the Game at scale
• Attempt to compromise the security of the Game or its infrastructure
• Use the Game for any unlawful purpose

2. ACCOUNTS AND CODENAMES

Account creation is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Your chosen codename is permanent and may not be changed. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content in Meridian Redacted — including puzzle designs, narrative, artwork, and code — is owned by the operator and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

4. PAID CONTENT

Tier I (levels 1–15) is free to play. Future content (Tier II and beyond) may require a one-time purchase. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; existing purchases are honored.

5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Game will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. Puzzles, levels, and narrative content are subject to change.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Meridian Redacted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

7. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
